Q: What does a website cost?
A: The cost of a website is determined by the complexity and programming required
to achieve the end result. Generally however, designs from iain.co.za start from as little
as R500 for a one page HTML site up to R25 000+ for fully comprehensive CMS, Database driven programmed websites with ALL the bells and whistles. For a more accurate cost, please request a quote and include your exact requirements.

Q: Are there any hidden costs?
A: No. Right from the start, you are informed of all costs involved.
These include domain registration, hosting and developing fees. If additional work is required after the site has been signed off, a new agreement is drawn up and new charges indicated to you by means of a new quotation. If your website malfunctions due to programming errors, these will be fixed at NO charge.

Q: How do your costs compare to other designers?
A: The going rate for an independant developer ranges from R320 - R500 per hour, excluding after-hours and overtime.  Therefore, we are 25% - 35% lower than the going rate.

Q: How long does it take to build a website?
A: The timeframe ranges from 2 - 6 weeks from receiving the brief to final output. This is dependant however  on how quickly the required information is received from the client .

Q: What extras do I get if you design my website?
A: There are no extras, so to speak. The quotes are all-inclusive, including: Site Setup, database setup (if required), Email Setup, Design & Development, Google Analtyics, Site Optomisation (SEO), Website Submission to Search Engines, Site Deployment.

Q: What do you charge to maintain a website:
A: Unless otherwise agreed upon for iain.co.za to maintain the site for you, all sites include a CMS (Content Management System) whereby you, the site owner can maintain the site yourself, whenever and wherever it suits you.

Q: How do I know my website is finished?
A: Throughout the devlopment phase, you, the client are updated whenever a design module is completed. We work together to complete the final outcome.
